Stamp-A-Stack of Christmas Cards!

Friends-

I've had interest in doing Christmas cards for the November 6 Stamp-A-Stack, so I am making that change. For this event you will make 20 cards for $25. I have two cards designed for you to choose from, pictured below. You can make all 20 cards the same, or make 10 of each design. When you arrive, all of the paper will be pre-cut for you. All you have to do is stamp, punch and assemble!

Desgin credit for the navy & silver card belongs to Andrea Lee. Design inspiration for the green/red card belongs to Anne Brown. Thanks ladies!
This class is scheduled for November 6, at 7 PM, in my home. Email me to register and I will provide directions for you. If more than 6 people register to attend the location will change. I will let you know if that happens!

"Extreme Guitar" - Guest Blogger Card

Today's Guest Blogger is my sister Elaina. She made this card for her teen-aged nephew. Below the photo is her description of what she used to make the card.

"The base of the card is Kraft. The "red and black" paper is really just Real Red card stock that I crumpled up then dragged my Basic Black classic ink pad across. Neat right? First time I can remember crumpling good paper on purpose. I used my spritzer to spritz with Real Red and Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers on Whisper White card stock. Then I stamped the guitar guy (Extreme Guitar, set of 1, $8.95) on top of that. On the other one i stamped off twice in addition to the main image moving over each time. kinda neat maybe i will photo that for you to see too. anyway- the guy is mounted on Basic Black. The mounted image is on dimensionals too. The "you rock" is actually alphabet rub-ons, not a stamp (not Stampin' Up!)."

I hope you enjoyed this "guest blogger" post. If you want your creation featured here then send me an email with "guest blogger" in the subject line, a photo of the project, and what you used to create it!

Copying is Flattery, Right?

My wonderful and supportive upline with Stampin' Up!, Anne, is doing a feature on her blog site that I would like to offer as well. She invites her customers to submit projects they have done and she posts them on her blog as a guest blogger.

If you have designed something that you are just burning to share with others, then let me know! I will post it on my site with your name on it. All I need is an email from you with a photo of the project, what you used on your project, and any instructions if necessary. I will take anything you would like to submit: scrapbook pages, cards, 3D elements. Submissions should be your original work or you should give credit where credit is due.

New Workshop Samples

Last Saturday's workshop at Shelia's home was so much fun, and I wanted to share what we created there. The ladies in attendance were either scrapbookers or interested in becoming scrapbookers, so that is primarily what I focused on with the projects.

Sample 1 is a 6x6 mini-page using Simply Scrappin' Party Pieces and the stamp set Quick Thinking. Our Simply Scrappin' sets make scrapbooking AND cardmaking SO fast and easy and the sets coordinate with our custom colors:

Sample 2 is a 6x6 mini page made using the Designer Series double-sided paper from the Winter Mini catalog called Enchante'. I also used the regular and small tag punches and the Mr. & Mrs. stamp from the Taggers Dozen... also in the Winter Mini catalog. The edges of the torn paper are distressed with Close to Cocoa from the Stampin' Pastels:

Sample 3 was our "Make & Take" card. It's a sweet little thank you card using Cool Caribbean & Whisper White cardstock, Designer Series paper from the current Winter mini catalog called Loves Me, and ribbon also from the Winter mini called Flirty. The stamp sets I used are Much Appreciated and from the upcoming Spring mini catalog, Polka Dots & Paisley:

Contact me to plan your workshop today! I can bring projects specifically designed to interest you and your guests. And these workshops are so much fun! If you schedule before Sell-A-Bration ends you and your guests will get even better benefits. I can't wait to hear from you!

Thanks everyone!

Thank you all who attended my debut workshop. I had a simply wonderful time and I really hope that you did too. I've taken photos of all 4 of the projects we did Wednesday night so that you can come back here and look if you forget. If you have any questions about any of the cards that I demonstrated, please let me know!

I'm also posting a picture of me with Anne after the event. Wasn't she great? She had been such a huge help to me getting started. Tonight I am attending her Christmas card making class where we will use one of the Simply Scrappin' kits to create 20 cards. I'll let you know all about it soon - and if you want to do this as a workshop with your friends let me know and I will help you with that!

Have an awesome weekend!
