I've got only THREE more events planned for 2009!
This Friday, Stamp-A-Stack of CHRISTMAS CARDS. Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church @ Renner & North Star. 7 PM. For $25 you will make 20 Christmas cards! See my previous post for photos of the 2 card designs. You can make all 20 cards alike, or 10 of each design. Let me know your preference when you register! Deadline to register is November 4th!
Craft Nights, Nov 20 and Dec 11. Get your last-minute holiday items finished. Bring your projects and use my tools & stamps. Please RSVP by the Monday before each craft night. Light refreshments are served and craft night is always FREE and FUN!
Keep checking back on this site and my Stampin' Up! website. I'm working on my upcoming events for 2010! If there is a certain class or event you are particularly interested in - then let me know and I'll do it!

Goal Setting!
I've been thinking lately about how far behind I've become on my personal crafting, specifically SCRAPBOOKING. I tend to spend most of my crafting time working on samples for class projects or swaps. So, I need to set some goals to get my projects completed. Looking at the VAST amount of photographs and/or digital photos I have can be overwhelming - but I know that setting small goals will be the perfect way to accomplish the BIG projects.
One plan of attack I have is to schedule a Craft Night once a month. These are open to anyone who wishes to attend and there is no fee. Don't we all need a little dedicated time to get things done? Come on over to my craft area with your project supplies - and use any of my tools that you need to use to complete your project. I have tons of punches, stamps, and other tools for your use. I'll post the dates for these Craft Nights on this site as well as my Stampin' Up! website, and you will need to RSVP so that I know how many people to plan for.
My second plan is to find at least one 2-hour block of time each week to work towards my scrapping goals. While I would LOVE for that to be a specific time each week for planning purposes, that is easier said than done with a 5-month old at home! So, for the short term I plan to just take the time when I can get it!
What are your scrapbooking or crafting goals? How can I help you acheive your goals? Email me if I can help - or share your suggestions with all of us in the comments! If I get at least 10 emails/comments then I will enter them all in a drawing for a free 6x6 DSP paper pack!

Show me your fabulous projects!
I'm always looking for samples and ideas to share on this website, so if you have made something that you are really proud of then I would LOVE to share it with everyone. I just need a photo of your project and a list of the "ingredients" you used. You will be featured here and receive all the credit, of course!
Send your projects to me!
Happy Crafting!

Calling All Talented Crafters!
I'm looking for your beautiful cards and other projects to feature on this website. I am especially interested in anything holiday related: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hanukkah - basically any celebration through the end of this year.
You will be featured as a Guest Blogger on this site.
All I need from you is a photo of your project and a list of "ingredients" used to make it. It is that easy. Email me today and you could be featured here soon!
Have a crafty weekend!

Your Ribbon Storage Options...
I was going through some photos I have on my computer, and realized that I should post these: two great ribbon storage options for you! Both photos are from my sister's craft room.
First (of course, since it's Stampin' Up!) we have the Ribbon Keeper. It comes in 3 sizes and each size comes with a package of two keepers. In the picture you will see one of each of the 3 sizes. They stack nicely as you can see - with snaps that hold them together. They do not come assembled, but I have to tell you that putting them together was really easy. The Ribbon Keeper is located on page 193 of the Spring-Summer Collection 2008 catalog. This product is great especially for ribbon that is still on the spool.

Second, we have a picture of ribbons kept in a plastic CD case, made by my sister Elaina. She will have to tell me where she got the idea from, but possibly the scrapbooking club she attends or Splitcoaststampers. This idea works great for loose ribbon that you might have. To create this, however, you should really use the Crop-A-Dile to punch the holes. What is a Crop-A-Dile, you say? Well, it's a fabulous tool that can punch 1/8 or 3/16 holes in nearly anything AND it sets eyelets silently, no hammer needed. This is great news for my dog, who cowered under a bed whenever I used to set eyelets.

If you wish to order a Ribbon Keeper or two, or want instructions for the CD case ribbon holder then let me know! I'd also love for you to share your ribbon storage ideas in the comments section, or email them to me with a photo and I will post them.
Happy Crafting to you!
