Really cute birthday card with coordinating Baja Breeze striped ribbon.

Scrapbook page for my nephew's 5th birthday! Once again, using the coordinating Riding Hood Red striped ribbon.

Great Color Combo Tool

Hey everyone. I hope you are enjoying your summer and getting lots of crafting done. I know I am!

I wanted to encourage you to visit the SU Color Combos link under my Stamp & Craft Links. It shows you ALL SU colors and how they would look together. It's a great way to check color combinations before slicing and dicing your cardstock or ordering a color you don't have yet. It's simple to use and already includes the brand new "In Colors" for this year!

One of my favorite things about Stampin' Up! is how all of the colors coordinate so beautifully and easily. You know that the cardstock will match the accessories, inks, chalks, and so on. Paper crafting has never been easier than when you work with these great products!

I also wanted to remind you that if you aren't already on my snail mail list, contact me right away with your address. I'll be placing my order to send out the upcoming holiday mini-catalog and you won't want to miss it!

Color Coordination - a GREAT Thing!

One of my favorite characteristics of the Stampin' Up! product line is how simple it is to coordinate everything you do with beautiful colors. Paper matches ink, matches brads, matches markers, matches ribbon, and so on. You never have to worry if something will look good together - because it's designed to go together! Below I'm listing which colors coordinate with the new Ribbon Original sets in the Fall-Winter 2007 Collection. I received this list in an email and want to share it with you to make your crafting easier! The Ribbon Original name is in bold and all of the colors are capitalized.

MANY Marvelous Markers!

You have to see these amazing markers for yourself. I recently got my own set and have fallen in love! Whether you stamp, scrapbook, papercraft, or all of the above, these markers are for you. The entire set of 48 in all of the exclusive custom colors of Stampin' Up! comes in its own carrying case. The markers are double-sided, with one side for journaling and the other for brushing color onto your stamps or whatever other fabulous techniques you wish to try. See the sample card I've made below with my new markers. I used one stamp (from The World Over hostess set) and colored the different parts of it with 3 colors of markers before stamping. You can't do that technique with an ink pad! Also, the ribbon below is white grosgrain that I colored with the markers to match my project. These markers are MARVELOUS!!!

Online Catalog Link for the markers!: http://catalogs.shoplocal.com/stampinup/index.aspx?pagename=moreinfo&circularid=8778&pagenumber=202&uniqueid=7217356&storeid=1038724

Contact me for more information about the markers, or any other product. Happy stamping, and "markering!"

It's Almost Party Time!

Hi Friends! Hopefully you have received (or will soon receive) my email about possible dates for my debut workshop. I really hope to see you there. I've fallen in love with these stamps and coordinating inks/papers and all the possibilities for my scrapbooking. Also, it couldn't be easier to make a card, I'm finding out. You may see some pretty "schmancy" designs on the website, but mine are still pretty simple and straightforward. I promise it's easy - and FUN!

Keep coming back - I'll be posting my work and other announcements. Send me any comments or questions you have!
